It is with regret, following guidance issued by Public Health Wales, we have been told to suspend all Orthodontic appointments with immediate effect and until further notice.
We apologise for the inconvenience, which is outside our control.
We know that these are unprecedented and confusing times but please DO NOT WORRY about your orthodontic treatment. At Newport Orthodontic Centre WE ARE HERE TO HELP. Our Orthodontists are available via Email 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are experiencing discomfort or are concerned about the condition of your braces, then please take photos and attach them to your email. You can use this video as guidance on how take the pictures we will need: https://youtu.be/b-g_JDGR-HA . Please include your name, date of birth and the name of your orthodontist (if known) and describe the issue that you are having.
You can also call us between the hours of 10am – 1pm on our Emergency mobile number: 07930152416. Please be aware that we may still ask you to take photos of your condition and email them to us so that we can assist you further. In extreme cases it may be necessary for us to book an emergency appointment with one of our orthodontists. For your own protection, and ours, we will try our best to help you remotely so we can reduce any unnecessary exposure to the COVID-19 virus. We have a duty of care to all our patients, both private and NHS, and we will try our best to make you comfortable while KEEPING YOU SAFE.
There are also video guides on the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) website regarding many of the topics below. Please visit https://www.bos.org.uk/News-and-Events/COVID19-BOS-Advice/Patients-Advice/Patients-Information-Videos

As always please remember too:
- KEEP YOUR BRACE AND TEETH VERY CLEAN
- AVOID SUGARY DRINKS
- AVOID EATING HARD OR STICK FOODS
And for those who have finished their treatment:
